1. Select a charm that resonates with your intentions and goals. Focus on your goals, desires, or the specific energy you want to attract.
2. Activate the energy of your charm by holding it in your hands, visualizing your intentions, and filling it with positive energy. Some people also like to recite affirmations or prayers while activating their charm. The key is to infuse the charm with your personal energy and intentions. Follow your intuition and embrace the ritual that feels right to you.
3. Display your charm in a prominent place where it can be easily seen, as charms work best when you maintain a continuous awareness of their presence and symbolism.
4. Avoid letting others touch your charm, as personal energy can affect its effectiveness. Do not open the scroll, even if you’re curious about the prayers or writing inside—it is believed that opening it will release the blessing it contains, making the charm ineffective.

The charm can be hung in your home, vehicle, closet, packed in your luggage or tucked under your pillow. It can also be displayed in a bowl or on a Christmas tree with other ornaments.

Similar to the traditions around the Japanese omamori charms sold at temples and shrines, keeping the scroll sealed and the charm untouched by others is believed to enhance the effectiveness of the charm.

Approximately 3 to 4 hours for someone with embroidery experience. Approximately 6 or more hours for someone who is new to embroidery.

Use canned air, a soft brush, or drafting tape to gently remove any dust or dirt from the felt ornament (Avoid tape with strong adhesive as it can pull out fibers and make the felt look fuzzy). If it still needs cleaning, you can vacuum gently with an attachment. For stains, blot the area with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with water and a little mild soap (Don’t rub as it can damage the felt). Once the stain is gone, blot the area again with a clean, damp cloth to remove any soap residue. If the charm loses the fragrance from the dried flowers and essential oil over time, feel free to add a drop of essential oil onto the piece of oil absorbing paper in the pocket.
