I&#8217;m Tracy. I am a first generation Chinese-American born and raised in the Bay Area, California. I fell in love with embroidered felt crafts because working with thread and felt shapes reminded me of both my grandparents\u2019 handicraft hobbies; my grandmother knitted and crocheted and my grandfather created collages from stamps. My mother majored in Asian literature and I incorporated her knowledge of Chinese literary traditions and poetry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Inspired by my culture and the generations of makers before me, I created Pentaflora Threads to gift those I love with something handmade that was delightful, comforting, and expressed my well-wishes with warmth and sincerity.
